MARKET REPORT: Olympic week ahead for FTSE as blue-chip giants release trading statements

Some 16 blue chip members of the elite Footsie index will be wheeling out trading statements next week in a race to get all business done and dusted before the start of the London Olympics and the peak holiday season.
